Over the years I have received many letters and E-mails    from clients. The message that you received that night for me was that I give it all away and that I could also heal myself.  You got a picture of 2 baskets with me saying, "9 for you, 1 for me.  9 for you, 1 for me...." Admittedly, I was puzzled and had no idea what you were talking about. At the time, I was giving care to our beloved neighborhood stray cat that was withering away with feline leukemia. The following week, either 1 or 2 days before she died, I was trying to get her to eat or drink. She kept refusing it, as if she were saying, “no thank you.”  I finally realized that it was mid-afternoon and I had not yet eaten that day myself. I finally sat in the chair across from her and said, "Etta, I need to eat something myself. My stomach is starting to growl." I offered her the first bite of rotisserie chicken, which she declined again. I then took a bite myself.  At that instant, she began to purr and I had to laugh because she was telling me the same thing that my guide was telling you on the 21st. Thought you might enjoy the story of the message you heard being told to me again...by a cat! Carolyn, Des Moines, IA. ♥       ♥       ♥       ♥       ♥       ♥       ♥ Hello Krista, I got the opportunity to meet you at Zierra Myst in Mount Juliet Tn, on July 16^th 2011, at a gallery reading you held there. I did speak with you after the reading and gave you a little affirmation, but something inside me just keeps telling me to write the whole story to you because this is a thank you to you. I went there that night in hopes of an answer about finding a job. But when you got to me, you said you had a male figure around me and it was my dad. I was a little bit skeptical as you see he did not believe in this stuff in life. I would have expected my mom, not my dad. Then you said I was filled with guilt and that he wanted me to let it go because I “did the right thing.” That's where the story begins. My dad had been in and out of hospitals every month and in Feb of 2011 his nursing home doctor wanted me to have a talk with my dad about stopping with dialysis, as his body was slowly shutting down. So I went with my sister and had a talk with my dad. He said the doctor told him he was going to die, and then he said, “We all are going to die and dialysis doesn't bother me so I want to keep with it.” I asked him then what if he couldn't respond and he said, “No more.” My dad still had a will to live. Then in April he ended up in ICU and the doctors were not sure he was even going to make it thru the night and if he did, it was a good time to think about comfort care and no more dialysis. The reality is that when a patient comes off dialysis they only live 10-14 days typically. I finally got to see my dad and he didn't even know I was there. He just laid there and kept saying, “Oh god, oh god help me!” I broke in tears and agreed with the doctors to just keep him comfortable. My dad was moved to a palliative care unit, where he actually appeared to be a lot better . . . and the guilt and mind started wondering; did I agree with the doctors too soon, did I do the right thing? During the next 10 days, he looked good and the family started coming and wondering why??? And the guilt really started again, even though the nurses and doctors all said it’s the right thing to do. On the 10^th day my dad took his last breath. Yes, I had guilt, just like you said! So when you started talking to me that night at Zierra Myst and you said things like, “Oh Kimmy,” telling me the words were coming from him, the tears started rolling so fast and hard I couldn't stop! My dad called me Kimmy, not Kim or Kimberly. And then you called my dad “sweet.” That is what the nursing home called him. There are many other things you said that you could not have known! And if I had still any skepticism, it was taken away on my way home from the evening’s events. While I was driving home thinking of the events that had just happened, I had a text from a number I didn't know and when I read it I started crying even harder. It said "Hi its Robert.” You see, my dad’s name was Robert! So this night had a really special meaning for me. I went in expecting something else but I got a gift I didn't even knew I needed or wanted very much. Thank you so much, Krista for the gift you gave me that night! You really have something special! I haven't been that affected by something in a long time. And thank you for the book From Victim to Valor, I am half way thru it, and it is very good! Thank you again. You truly are inspirational.
